After being in New England for a week, I definitely see where Daybreak received their inspiration! Come see us this weekend for the opening of the new SoDa (SOuth DAybreak) shopping district. I am not sure what stores are in there or if anything has actually opened, but it should be a fun weekend. Seriously one of my most favorite things I have ever made. I LOVE fall. Love brown and orange. This beauty was gone within MINUTES of the doors opening. I guess someone else loved it as well!

This "Boo" also sold tonight, but I have another that will be making its way either there tomorrow or to our next boutique.I am really in the mood to do a giveaway. I am not in the mood to search out how everyone else does their giveaways to say all the ways you need to follow us and leave comments, yada yada yada. SO if this seems weird, sorry. I have paint on my hands and really should be working on that other "BOO". So, here is how you can earn entries to the giveaway. We decided to extend our spring season a little longer, and we are taking part of this boutique in Herriman. It is very easy to find-- just off 5600 w (Rosecrest Road), by the four way stop that is just north of the big Rosecrest Park/sign.
We have signed up for some events during the summer-- Manti Pageant's boutique, Provo's Freedom Festival, Bungalow8 Boutique (which will be during Draper Days), and Saratoga Spring's city celebration. Not as busy as last year, but plenty busy for us! Jenni will also be selling her Studio 32 Shoes at each of these locations, as well (not Sweet Tweets though).

This cute heart is one of Jenni's recent projects. She made it for herself, so it is not for sale, but it is too cute to not post!This is one of my very favorite magnet boards that I have made. I was told this paper is now discontinued (I am not sure if that is a valid claim yet, though), so it makes it even more a love of mine! I made this for my husband for Christmas. He is easy, so I just picked the designs I like :) I am trying to get better at photographing these-- if I was better at it already, there would be some on our website.

I have been working on a project, which I will add pictures for later, and then you will understand just exactly what the headline means! Since I have been working on projects and getting all these boutiques ready, I missed posting about The Queen Bee Boutique, and I am behind on other things, so here is a brief catch-up and I have some other things to add later.
These pics are out of order, so sorry- I am working on a MacBook and I am not used to doing this kind of stuff on here- it is so foreign to me. Let me start with Oh Sweet Sadie- we are going to be in Bountiful this weekend for this show. I am excited because we have a store that carries our products in Bountiful and I am interested to see how it turns out. I have to give a shout out to Heidi and Dani, the organizers of Oh Sweet Sadie! They are so good to work with and I know they have not and will not sleep too much until this is over! We have always been privileged to work with great people, I just wanted to give them props.
Okay the next invite is late, as it ends today, but I could not pass up putting such a great invitation on here. The Queen Bee Boutique is in a gorgeous home in the Millcreek area. It is the only show that we do that is during the week, and believe me, it is a nice variation to have. Especially a week like this, where we have three! Angie and JaNeane do a great job and it really is a privilege to be a part of such an artsy event-- they put a lot of talent in this boutique. A note on this evite-- the boutique ends at 4 pm today.
The next invite is for Tom and Lucy's Art Shoppe. I apologize for not knowing a whole lot about it, but this one looks like it will be a great one too. Jenni will be taking care of that one and it is in Lehi. If you have a chance to head out and do some Christmas shopping (or whatever!), these are great places to find gifts. Have a great weekend!

Busy Week!

There are many busy weeks to come, this one being the first one of this Christmas season. We will be doing two shows this weekend- Blue Goose Boutique, at the Lehi Legacy Center in Lehi and Oh Sweet Sadie! In Sandy/South Jordan at Noah's. Though this is a crazy weekend, we are so excited to be a part of both of these shows. The vendors at both have so much to offer. Before doing all these boutiques, I had never actually been to one. If you are like me, please, go check one of these out. They are a GREAT place to find your gifts for people. You can find pricey items as well as inexpensive ones. There are many great ideas. Blue Goose has a vendor who always has fun kids stuff, like finger puppets and capes (for girls and boys; there is also a vendor at Oh Sweet Sadie that sells these too, and they may have a better selection, the one at Blue Goose sells theirs for $10 and the other is a bit more). There is a guy that does vinyl and he has the most comprehensive selection possible. Really great stuff (his booth is huge too). The vinyl available at Oh Sweet Sadie is awesome as well- its hard to even compare the two, her stuff is so unique and I love it. What else? There are some way super cute kid clothes- onesies, shirts, aprons, etc made by Amy of Vintage Fern (LOVE her stuff it is SO cute).
Blue Goose has a man who sells dips. Kind of funny, but once you try them, it is all over. They are so yummy (I bought one at Battlecreek and mixed it with fat free plain yogurt-Mountain Dairy-and low fat mayo and my husband and friends loved it.). If you have never purchased a cookie or cupcake from the treat vendor at Oh Sweet Sadie, well you are probably better off. They are so stinking good it is not even funny. Just make sure you buy one and don't eat it until you are gone; you will want another. I really could go on and on because both places have great stuff- jewelry that is cute and unique (love Jam Jewelry and she will be at Oh Sweet Sadie as well as Queen Bee), hair bows, tutus, nursing covers (I bought-sort of- one of these, they are affordable and they have the thing at the top that enables you to look down in on your baby. From someone with experience- these are a great idea.). The list goes on and on (not to mention all of our offerings- CUTE ornaments, Christmas decor including metal signs, picture frames, etc No magnet boards, sorry, but those will be available again soon) .
Please, come support people who are local, who make or sell some amazing stuff. It will be worth your time!
*This Oh Sweet Sadie! does not have a play room, but the others do, so you can bring your kids and they can go into a room and play (supervised).

Fall is in the Air!

This weekend, we are kicking off the Fall season and we are doing two shows. Terri's Blue Goose Boutique, at the Lehi Legacy Center (it is a great place) on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. We are also participating in Oh Sweet Sadie! This boutique is one that moves around, and this weekend is in Draper- this is not just for Salt Lake people- if you live in Utah County, this is the place to be as well, since it is maybe 7 minutes from Kohler's in Highland. Check their website for the directions. The address is 15625 (translating to mean Draper: Utah County!) Winged Trace Court. This house is GORGEOUS and has a fabulous view of Utah County- really breathtaking. This boutique is Thursday and Friday. We won't be there the whole time, just to set up and take down, but you will love many things at these great shows, so please, come and see what they are all about. Also, there is still time left to visit our website and enter our contest by leaving a comment in the guestbook.

We take custom orders- you can choose the font, the saying, the metal finish (pewter, copper, or bronze patina or shiny metal finish), and you can also choose the paint color. The size may be determined by the saying, but in most cases, you may be able to pick that as well. These orders generally take 2-3 weeks. If the item is shipped, then those times apply as well.
